340PD Cylinder Not Spinning!
HELP!!!! my 340PD just undertook a good cleaning and oil (side plate removed) and now the peice that spins the cylander after each shot only stays on it for one shot. I dry fire it and the cylinder does not move!!! Anyone know the fix? Nothing is binding it, the peice is floating and does not have the same tension as when It was taken off.

Sounds like you're referring to the hand. Did you remove the trigger and the hand when you opened it up? There is supposed to be a little tension spring at the back of the hammer, at the base of the hand. Is that still there and functioning properly?

The hand is extremely loose. Falls right back out. Im willing to guess that when it came off the tension spring shot off, and was so small I didnt see it. Any thoughts on where to find a new one?

Ogy, that was exactly the issue. You are my here right now, my J-Frame is back in business. Thank you! I was becoming very afraid that it was going to be a trip to the smithy.

I did that once. But it wasn't' until I found out it was missing that I realized it had shot off into another dimension.
Had to order a new one.
