Default model 439 night sights

I've got a Model 439 with the OEM adjustable rear sight. The front sight is a fixed serrated face ramp style and it's part of the slide (no dovetail).

I want to upgrade to night sights such as a Trijicon rear sight blade w/ tritium inserts but need some advice on what to do with my front sight.

Novak's or ToolTech can install night sights on your gun. They could probably drill out the original front but would probably just mill it off and dovetail it.
