Default Gunsmith in Western North Carolina (or upstate SC)

I'm looking for recommendations for a skilled and honest gunsmith in WNC or nearby.
Anybody have good experiences to report?

Phil Flack

P.F. Custom Guns
18 Sunset Drive
Asheville, NC 28806
Phone: (828) 252-9487

Phil is working a 1911 for me right now, and I've heard nothing but excellent reviews on his work. Just call or e-mail, he's quite a nice fellow.

If you get to mapping his address, make sure you use the full address with the ZIP code. There is a Sunset Dr. near downtown Asheville that some maps will identify as that address, but it's not correct. His shop is located at his residence in the Leicester area, off of Mt. Carmel Rd.

And I completely forgot...

I bought a Remington 870 from him a couple of years ago. It was a former police gun that he refinished. It looks better than most any new 870 out today and the action is slicker than hot butter on a glass plate.

See here: Remington 870 Police

David Clements is in Woodlawn, Virginia, about 14 miles north of the North Carolina line. Woodlawn is just west of Exit 14 on I-77.
