S&W sells parts. Also try Wolff springs and Numrich.

Let me hitch hike on this one.
What parts are most likely to be needed for 3rd. Gens?

Likely parts are...

Recoil springs
Main springs
Firing pin
Firing pin springs
Trigger play spring
Extractor
Extractor spring
Extractor pin
Ejector spring
Side plate assmbly
Recoil spring guide assmbly

My list is more likely to less likely (top-bottom).
Feel free to add to this list, guys.

S&W will have most of these, but some will be a hunt to find.

Just to set the record straight, most 3 gen. guns will not need much beyond a thorough cleaning, and a recoil spring. The sources listed can provide parts if needed.

Hey, I am not saying that these items will fail/break. I love my S&W 3G autos. I just like having some parts on hand.

You are most welcome, Tbird!

Plan B is smart. If you use your S&W's, you may need some of the listed items someday.
These parts make even more sense if you own multiple 3rd gens pistols. Also, some of the parts listed will fit several models.
