Default oversize cylinder stop

Will the oversize stops made by Powers work in a 5 screw action? Also anyone know a sourse for an oversize front sideplate/yoke screw? Thank, Mark

For the cylinder stop, no, it will not work.

For the yoke screw, there is no need for an oversize one. If there is yoke end-shake when the yoke is open, this is handled by peening the yoke button. The book below will describe the procedure.

If you are going to do any work on S&W revolver buy a copy of "The S&W Revolver, a Shop Manual" by Jerry Kuhnhausen. Both Brownell's and Midway sell it, but so do just about every on-line bookseller. "Google" the title and check several to find the best pricing. You will never regret buying it, but you probably will if you don't!
