scudd1999 problem with m625 help!
Hello,
Bought an m625 so I could shoot the same ammo with my Glock plus loved the reliability of the wheel gun. To put it bluntly the factory trigger sucks. Way to stiff. Put a 11 lb. trig. spring but it was way to light. Put in a 14 Lb. and it seems to work ok unless I invert the pistol 90 degrees counterclockwise. When I do this the trigger will not return all the way without a little help. What is going on? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Scudd1999

Put at least 500 rounds downrange with it and then look for rub marks on the lockwork and in the frame recess. Those rubs will tell you what areas need a bit of detailing with a stone.

Sometimes a pin in the hammer or trigger will not be set flush and will drag against the frame or sideplate. This will be noticed as a line through the travel portion of the hammer or trigger and to correct is merely set the pin flush. Careful examination is key if you are familiar with the working parts.

If you're new to this, check out the DVD "Trigger Job" by Jerry Miculek.
Jerry guides you through the process step by step, explaining everything you need to do (and what you DON'T want to do).
If you've ever seen what he does with a .45 revolver you will be a believer.
