Default Front Sight Pocket Dimensions

I intend to mill the front sight off of my Model 41 and install a HiViz fiber optic revolver sight. I will pin it if necessary, but I would like to duplicate the interchangable blade system. Would someone with a machinest's eye sketch up the pocket and retaining system for me?

Thanks,
Charlie

If you have access to a milling machine and know how to use it great.
if it were me, I would send it to the guys at Novak's and have them do it.
They have done several things like that for me and the plus is that they do Bluing in house and re-blued the slide I sent them free of charge, or at least for no more then the machine work was quoted at.
I had the slide professionally polished and ready by a gunsmith friend of mine so they only had to dip it in their tank.
But, it is not expensive to ship just a slide and their prices are lower then anyone locally would do it , and the have a wealth of experience in proper sight heights and types.
I am also going to send them my Model 65 3" revolver to machine a dovetail and put a Brass bead front sight in.
