Default Thread Locker-penetrating.

Some years ago I bought a Smith 67,new in the box. When the revolver was taken apart and lubed I noticed lube eventually oozing out of the space between the trigger stud and the frame on the outside of the frame. This was no real bad problem as the stud was not too loose and besides ,once the side plate was fitted the stud was solidly in place. But,it still was bothersome as lube worked its way outside near the trigger .I finally fixed the problem today by degreasing the stud and surrounding metal and placing Loctite Green 290 penetrating thread locker on the area around the stud inside the frame. The stuff "crawled" into the space between the frame and stud and both sealed it and locked it into place a little better.
I have not heard of this problem before but if you have the problem I had this stuff will repair it.Hope this helps someone.
