Default model 65 barrel options

Ok guys, I have a M65 project that only needs a cylinder and barrel. The cylinder has already been sourced, but the real question I have is, can you fit a M64 barrel to a M65? I realize that the forcing cone is longer to accommodate for the shorter cylinder of the .38 cylinder. Can I simply have the M64 barrel shaved to fit?

Default 65 barrels

The three that I have I removed from 65's to put bull barrels on for PPC shooting, all three are from model 65's that I got from Gil Hebard, they are 4'' and are what I would call heavy barrels. PM me with your email address and I will send pictures of all 3. I just looked and 2 are for pinned frames and one is not. Jeff
