Default SD40VE

Hey Guys,
Installed the spring kit from apex tactical in my SD40VE and while the trigger action is awesome I noticed that the slide stop release leaver is harder to press to get the slide to come forward after racking it. I mean when I reinstalled this piece it had the spring tension that is talked about in the video but I have to press pretty hard down on this lever to unrack the slide. It also gave me a bit of a fit about going back in once I was reinstalling it but after a few wiggles it slide right on with the pin. Anyone experience this? I thought maybe it might be something that goes away after some use. I am willing to tear it all down again and try to install it again…but I would rather not because as you know getting that pin back in can be a pain in the butt lol.
Thanks!
