Default Cylinder drag...

Smith model 64.
Double action is fine.
During single action there is a heavy drap
while cocking with one cylinder.

Cause ?

Long ratchet, barrel/cyl gap too tight, cylinder misaligned to name a few

Keep your gun away from the drapes. I expect you mean one "chamber" of the cylinder.
