617-2 Rubber Grip Removal?

Did a search and did not come-up with much. Point me to a thread, or give me a little help before I destroy something please.

I have came-by a 617-2 with S&W rubber grips. They are wrap-around grips open at the bottom with no screw. I would suppose they "pry" off, but before I start prying....I'd like a little how-to on these if there is anyone out there that can help me.

A very famous person said..."ask and you shall receive"...."seek and you shall find". You-the-man db! My AARP and Lowe's credit card did the trick. These are marked S&W and not Hogue, but they are the same grips.
