Default SD40 trigger won't always reset
I put in a spring and trigger kit from Apex Tactical and now sometimes the trigger won't reset. The slide cycles and chambers a new round but there is no reset to fire the round. I have to re-rack the gun, expelling a good, un-fired round then continue shooting until it happens again.
Has any one had this problem or know what I can do to correct it?

Have you thought about contacting Apex? Since it's their kit, it would be logical to think they might have some idea of what's going on.

yeah...thought I would give this a try also. thanks for suggestion. cant believe I,m the only one this has happened to. I thought this was a fairly popular kit.

Were you having trouble with the OEM trigger?

Problem didn't start till after the alterations. If that's what you are asking.
There was nothing technically wrong with OEM condition exept the wierd "hinged in the middle" trigger and the really long and hard pull. The new trigger and spring package works and feels real good when it's working. Trying to figure out why it intermittently doesn't reset the striker.
