Default Cylinder End Shake Question

I have a 629 Classic that has a measured .002 end shake .
Should I just leave it alone ? Just to see what would happen I put in a .002 shim and the cylinder would hardly turn .
I shoot this gun a lot but with a reduced load of a 240 grain bullet at 970 fps .
Thanks in advance .

.002 does not sound like enough end shake to require a "fix," but to be honest, I cannot remember the "spec" on how much end shake calls for a fix.

Since .002 seems to be the thinnest shim Triggershims sells,
I would leave it until such time as the .002 is needed and works.
JMHO.

According to Kuhnhausen, endshake does not require correction until it measures past .006". .001" to .002" is about ideal; there should be a touch of slop to avoid the binding you experienced when you shimmed.
