Default 1905 Hand ejector 4th change issue

Have a 1905 4th change est 1919 and have replace stop and spring. On 2 cylinders in will not fully lock up. I can (with enough force similar too changing channels on OLD FM radios) twist it backwards out of lock up. The rest of the cylinders it does not happen. also the ratchet pad rubs the frame at 9-12 o'clock (as looking at the frame face where hammer/hand is). It is also popping 2 primers too.
This gun has operated, for I don't know how long, with a "half" stop (the stop only had half of it still there).
The primer 'popping"(punching hole through primer) started after new mainspring was put in (the old one had been bubba-ed to work when it broke off the end hooks from what it looked like).
any help appreciated. Thanks!!!!
