Default lee's red ramp kits

I have used Lee's red ramp liquid to replace S&W front sights that have been removed or knocked out. I am looking for the liquid that was used as I have not been able to find the kits. Does any one know what the chemical was that was mixed with the red powder? It was faster and made a better sight than the Brownell's kit. Thanks, skip

Lee was a friend of mine, he lived in Palm dale Ca. when I knew him He used to attend the San Jose gun show each month as I did. we talked gunsmithing quite frequently. I asked him what his red ramp material was made of. he said it was dentistry material, monomer and polymer (spelling) with special dye added, if I remember right he had been involved in the dental trade before he retired. So if you know a dentist you might try to get some of the liquid from him and try it. I still have orange, red and the liq which I still use from time to time. Good luck, Paul

Default Lee's

Thank you for the info. I'll try a friend of mine and let you know how it works. His kits are so much better than Brownell's.
