Howdy,

Would anyone know where I can purchase some new or excellent condition yoke/sideplate screws for 1975-1985 K frames ?
Blued ( model 17 and 19 ) need @ 6 each of the bottom two screws.

I haven't seen any online at the big gun parts stores, and heard S&W is out at this time. Trying to find some here locally in the San Antonio Texas area.

Texan - FYI, those two bottom screws are the same.
The most forward screw ends up being shortened slightly when it is "fitted" for the yoke

Have you tried Brownells, Midway, or Numrich?

Texan- DO NOT buy from Numrich or any of their affiliates. Virtually all parts are from guns stripped for parts and NOT NEW. I learned the hard way. They shipped a mod 17 centre rod that had the end 1/4" of rod re-welded off centre & would not fit thru ejector rod. They shipped a Python ratchet with one lobe missing. Better to wait for genuine new parts & buy several for your own parts bin. I have three complete sets in Blue &SS and would not sell.

Brownells has new factory parts, sideplate screws included. As previously noted, you'll have to fit the cylinder retaining screw-which might involve not only length, but diameter of the tip.

I bought a new model 60 where the front screw hadn't been properly fitted at the factory. One day, I went to reload it and when I swung the cylinder out, the yoke & cylinder fell on the ground. The unfitted screw wore through the retaining flange on the yoke. This was before the lifetime warranty, but they made it right.
