Default WINCHESTER 94 BARREL REMOVAL

I have a Winchester model 94, 30-30, that according to its serial number was made in 1965. I am refinishing it for the owner and need to remove the barrel. I have never worked on a 94 and need to know if the barrel is pressed in or screwed in.
I called the factory and they said they couldn't help me because it was before they bought Winchester????? I have checked several sights with no luck. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

They screw in:

An issue would be supporting the receiver so it doesn't warp

Screw in, as Wiley said. If you are refinishing it for someone, you might not be aware that Winchester changed the alloy of the receivers in model 94's after 1964. They will not accept a normal blueing. I tried with one I had years ago, and ended up just removing the receiver finish all together, and polishing it to a satin silver finish. One of the new, high tech. coatings might be an option.

I am not doing the receiver, just the barrel. The receiver is color case hardened. Thanks for the replies.
