Default S&W Cylinder bore

I have been shooting, and comparing Two of my .22 S&W revolvers, a mod.
18-3 Combat Masterpiece, and a mod. 34-2 22/32 kit gun. I'v only tried one type ammo so far, Remington bulk .22 L.R. brass plated hollow points. Both guns fired the ammo, and the Kit gun ejected the fired brass easily, with an easy push on the ejector rod, but the Combat Masterpiece ejector rod had to be tapped rather sharply to get the fired brass to eject. It seems to me that both similar revolvers should eject the same. Anyone have any ideas on this matter? Thanks.

Clean the cylinder on the Masterpiece thoroughly with a brass brush. If the cases still stick, then the chambers may need polishing. Use J-B compound on a tight patch to begin with. If that doesn't work, I'd personally get a gunsmith involved.

Sometimes the chambers are just plain undersized. You can have a 'smith take care of that if that's the problem.

That true a lot of times. I HAD that problem with my 34. Could shoot a couple cylinders after a super cleaning and then back to stuck cases.

I use Valve Grinding compound (Automotive) on a wire brush utilizing a slow speed hand held drill, made a few passes in each hole. Had to do it twice, made a big difference.

You really got to clean the cylinder super good when you get done polishing as those little grits go everywhere. I use the appropriate cleaning solution and finish up with a healthy blast of 100# air from my compressor.
