Model 28 to 41 magnum conversion.
Thanks to the help of several forum members I have converted my 4" 28-2 to a 4" 41 magnum. It actually went pretty well and I will let you know how it goes at the range tomorrow.

Did you find a barrel or have it rebored?

I fired it the other day and it is a very accurate. I bought a barrel and cylinder from members on the forum. I checked into having the barrel rebored and sent out several e-mails to names I got here but not one of these folks returned my e-mail.
I have tried to download pictures from my camera to my new computer but for some reason it doesn't work.

Nice. I'm very interested and would love to see the pictures. I just had a local gunsmith convert a 629 to 45 Colt. I found a barrel but was unable to locate a cylinder so I had him rechamber it. I also have a pre 28 that I would like to convert to 45acp. Found a cylinder but no luck on a barrel. This is why I asked about the barrel. It seems those who rebore them are backed up over a year.
