I watched the Youtube video on changing the rear sight blade on my M27. I did like It said and took the screw the wrong way. Well, thanks to this awesome forum I found out what I should have done and then how to fix the screw up. Thanks to all the knowledgeable folks here who keep us squared away. The 18B course didn't teach me about S&W sights...Ha.

Thanks for the large freezer bag over the pistol trick as well. I lost the plunger earlier today, but somehow found it laying on the couch in the next room. That there is some luck. The pistol is back together and I've been shining her up. Can't have the old girl looking bad now that I finally get to shoot her.

You're not the only one! Seems like once a month or so someone follows those You Tube videos, or Larry Potterfields (owns Midway, maybe the same video)! I have posted probably 10-12 times about them giving bad information, too bad you didn't see one of those first!
