I removed the thumb safety from my M&P and got the frame plugs from Smith and Wesson. Everything seemed to go well but I'm concerned about the amount of "play" allowed in the sear pin. The left frame plug buts up against the sear pin on the left side but there is a gap between the sear housing block and the right side of the frame and the sear pin could move a fair amount to the right side. I don;t think it's quite enough for the sear to come loose but just doesn't seem right.
Is this OK or did I install the right plug wrong?
