Default Patridge front sight on K 22

I have a pre model 17 made in 1955 or 1956. I can see the pin that holds the front sight in place. Is the ramp and blade one piece, or is the blade separate from the ramp. It looks to me as if this is one unit.{blade and ramp}
If so, does anyone know where to get such an animal?
Thanks for any information.

If the pin you see is just under the front sight then the sight itself can be removed. If the pin is under the sight base and goes through the top of the barrel rib, the sight is most likely part of the base. S&W has not made front sights this way for many years. Your best bet is to find a barrel from a similarly aged revolver that has the front sight you want and transfer that front sight to the one you have now.

In order for the blade and ramp to be separate there would be a pin through the ramp. If it has no pin they are one piece. Can you post a close-up photo of what you are referring to?

Upon closer examination, I can see that the pin goes thru the rib and the ramp and blade look to be one piece.
Thanks to all for responding.
