Default Probably an old question on front site...

Is it possible to change the Patridge site on a 25-2 or a 27-2 to a ramp style? Just a blade change or does the base need to be swapped as well? Would this be within capabilities of a typical smith?

Any decent machinist should be able to cut the rear face at a proper
angle in a milling machine and then serrate the cut surface.
