Default Fords refinishing

Has anyone used Ford lately?
Their website is less than complete and I need a gun renickeled. No prices etc.

I think giving them a call would be best, they could also tell you the lead time for work ordered.

Although I have not used them I have tried to contact them several times and I have never received a return call. I suppose they are so busy they don't really care, but I have a thing about dealing with Companies that don't return phone calls or answer their phones. If they threat you like garbage before you send them money I can just imagine how they treat you after they have cashed your check.

I wound up sending my Rifle to Mid West Gun Works (for a re-blue) after not hearing back from Fords (after 3 attempts and messages) and Mid West GW did a superb job at a fair price in 8 weeks time which I also deem reasonable. I am sure that all the great work I have heard Fords has done is true and they are supposed to be a reputable Company - but 3 strikes and your out in my book.

You don't send any Money,Just a note with a card number to charge.Another Member just posted that the turnaround Time was less than Two Months,Which is incredible. They usually run 6 Months Plus.

Fords is a couple of miles from me. Nice People, and Excellent Work. Yes they are very busy, but won't rush their jobs

Ford's is top notch both quality and character.

I have never before heard of anyone claiming that Ford's treated them like garbage.

I am not certain if they answered the phone every time I called of over the many years of doing business with them, probably not, but they have always been pleasant and never hard to get a hold of.
