Default Glenrock Blue

Has anyone used them for refinishing?
I'm rebuilding a bubbafied mid 60s Colt government to my own tastes and I'm wondering if they can refinish it to the same level as the factory did back then

Haven't used them, but they are on the short list of refinishing outfits that get outstanding reviews. I wouldn't be afraid to send any of my guns there.

You might also want to look at Turnbull, Fords, and RGS for restoration-level refinishing of an older firearm.

I looked into LGS MFG for re bluing and received a very courteous and honest response. It turned out my project was not suitable for a re bluing. They are located in Texas and are S&W certified. I think I heard about them on the Forum. Check them out!

I've used Glenrock Blue. Great folks to deal with. High quality work. Honest. Their turn around was not quick but that means that they do a lot of work for a lot of folks.

They've done a couple of handguns for me. Excellent work, nice people.

Since your gun is a genuine Colt, why not call Colt? Colt has been doing re-finishing like I have never seen in recent times! Their work is SPECTACULAR! About 3 or 4 years ago I had two Colt SAA Revolvers re-finished in Royal Blue and case Colors by them and they now look better than they ever did when I bought them new. They went through 20 years of SASS matches and competition and were beat up - to say the least. You should give them a call.......

I only wish I had taken Before Photos.
