Looks to me that even if they do shoot POA = POI they sort of defeat the whole purpose of fixed sights being unobtrusive and low profile. They look like they will catch clothing and get in the way as much or even more than standard adjustable sight blades will. I can only assume that is the purpose you intended them for but never the less let us know how they work out for ya. Just saying..........

Chief we will see how they shoot. They do have less sharp edges than the Factory rear adj. sights so don't think they will catch as bad.
Definitely more strong and less subject to damage.
Love the three inch 66, don't care for adjustable sights.

I have them on my matching PC snubbies, and love 'em! Very easy to pickup, bulletproof, and no sharp edges to snag on clothing, etc.

Any update on how these shoot? I have a 4" 66 and was thinking of installing the D&L fixed on the rear. I know my front pinned blade is .278 is height.
I have heard/read that fronts sights need to be fitted/filed with this rear, but when I called D&L, he said that these were same height as K and L frame revolver rear sights (and thus shouldn't require fitting/filing).
Looking for real world input.

Take A look at Cylinder & Slide Extreme Duty rear fixed sight, low profile and looks like it belongs on the gun......

The trick in the "old days" was to carefully round off the outside edges of adjustable rear sight blade ( for CCW ) as they won't catch clothing nearly as much.
A new rear sight blade could always and easily be installed if and when you sold the gun. The price of a new sight blade, screw and nut is $10 Bucks.
