Default Can you reccomend a good pistolsmith?

I have a Kimber 1911 Custom II Stainless in 9mm that needs a lot of work. This gun has never shot even decently since I bought it new. I need someone who does good work on 1911's. New barrel and bushing, extractor, etc. Don't even go there with Kimber service dept. I was there and got the royal runaround from them. Will never, ever buy another Kimber. Some smith near northeast PA would be great, but I will ship it to wherever it has to go. Thanks for any help you can give with this.

Frank Glenn is in AZ, but makes guns for the competitive shooter. Google him for contact information.

I'm sure Cylinder & Slide can help you out.

Edit:

Or the usual suspects like Wilson Combat, Ed Brown and Les Baer.
