Default Model 69 trigger replacement surprise

Really wanting a target hammer and trigger for my model 69.
Midway finally received the new MIM L (and K) Frame target hammers.
I have no issue whatever with MIM parts. Smoother and fit better.
As for target triggers, there's no MIM one that I'm aware of.
Went to the parts box to select a forged trigger. Done this several times before. (617 and 986)
Surprise! The 69's trigger stud is larger (beefed up design).
So, off to our local machinist/gunsmith to see if he has suitable carbide tooling to bore it to fit.

There are no more .500" case hardened hammers and triggers being made so before you do an alteration to any old parts think about down the road when you may need it and it's $200 on ebay to get one.

There's far more hammers than target triggers available on ebay and they are now at about $80 for an N frame.

Use the MIM and keep the old one unaltered.
