K38 Refinish
Got my 1956 vintage K38 Masterpiece back from Smith today after getting a high polish blue job. All I can say is what a beautiful job. This is the second revolver I've had redone there and the quality you get for a very reasonable price can't be beat. They also replaced the hand, rebound spring, and extractor spring at no extra cost. The bottom line is that they're not going to return a firearm with any bad parts. Some people complain about the time it takes for repairs and etc. I sent this revolver to them on the 22nd of March and got it back today, the 24th of May. That is not bad at all, considering the quality workmanship you get. My hat is off to their craftsmen.

K-38 Refinish
It cost me $288. Sorry, but I haven't figured out how to post pictures yet.

Nice report and very nice gun. Makes me cringe to see it hanging on bare metal peg board hooks. I use peg board hooks to hang hand guns but I get a can of plastic dip and coat them before use.

John, I only hang my handguns on those pegs to take pictures. The rest of the time when they're not in use, they're in silicone gun socks in my safe. Oh, I might mention that those pegs are aluminum.
