M-17 Target Hammer & Trigger
I have a nice M-17 with conventional narrow trigger and hammer that I would like to upgrade to TT-TH. Things were so simple in the old days when one could buy the old forged, color-casehardened parts off the shelf in a blister pack for $20 each. Does anyone more knowledgeable than I know of a current source? The usual suspects, E-Bay and Gunbroker are currently barren. I think I'll eventually find a trigger, but the hammer might be tough. Is it possible to machine/grind a centerfire K-frame target hammer into M-17 dimensional spec? I'm not desperate enough yet to consider MIM parts. Don't even know if they would fit.

I believe they are available at Numrich. See the link below. Probably best to call them and speak with a Rep on the phone to make sure you get the correct parts. Also, remember that new parts will require fitting, and will not "drop-in".
