Refinish Alloy Frame
Can an alloy, lightweight frame be successfully re-blued or coated in some way? I'm not concerned about collectability afterwards.

Yes. I know CCR and Robar offer options for refinishing alloy frames. There may be others.

Alloy frames can be bead blasted and anodized again. Cerakoat is a very popular option especially if you want the refinish job done locally.

You can nickel plate alloys I think, but not hard chrome plate them.
