I sent a pawn shop rescue to Smith about a month ago and
received an email within 2 weeks. The email listed an RMA
number for ID if I should have questions. Question #1, what
does RMA stand for? Question #2, how will Smith contact me
with a repair estimate, email or by phone? Question #3, how
long is repair time for a reblue? TIA
RMA appears to mean Return Merchandise Authorization. I learned something new today.
I shipped in a couple for a Combat Action Package a couple years ago (not at same time about 6 months apart) and I received an estimate in the mail a few weeks later.
As far as time goes it depends on how busy they are. One took almost a year and the other took like 2 months.
