Ordering a grip screw for 3 inch model 65 factory grips
Where can I get a proper grip screw for STD factory grips from late 80's model 65 three inch. ( Just regular round butt factory comact wood grips ) . Thank You.

You can find them on eBay. Last I talked to S&W they said they couldn't provide one.

Just search for "S&W grip screw". They seem to come in 2 lengths; about 1" for magnas and 1.2" for targets.
They will run you less than $10 shipped.

I called the factory several yrs ago . they told me they used a private contractor that made the grips and furnished the grip screw . they had none on hand , ever . said they got calls every week for that screw .

Some people at gun shows have screws and usually cheap. There may be a set that is worn badly with a screw. Larry
