I think I cracked my grips
I think I may have cracked my new extreme series Hogue G10 grips. Got the grips a week ago. First day out shooting with them. I didn't notice them when I installed the grips. After ten rounds of 325gr 460 and ten rounds of 325gr 454 is when I noticed the separation when I was unloading the 460. Here a pic.

I think they are made that way. Otherwise, you'd never get them on.

Definite crack. Contact Hogue, they'll likely replace them. Tell them the grip has split along the seam where the two halves are glued together. Their customer service is very good.

They look defective to me. I'd call Hogue or email them that pic along with your info.

Don't they have to be 2 halves anyway? How else do they go on?

Hogue Monogrips, such as the OP's, are 1-piece (actually two halves glued together) grips that are slid onto the gripframe from the bottom up and secured with a screw attached to internal mouting hardware at the bottom of the grip. The two halves of the grip are NOT supposed to split apart.
