Default 1903 First Change Hand Ejector. 32 I Frame question.

Looking for a hand, and they don't seem to be exactly plentiful. Can a later I Frame hand be fitted? The only apparent difference is the 'notch' for the S shaped trigger/hand spring...

Bump. Surely somebody knows; can the cutout for the trigger return spring just be cut into a later hand?
