does anyone know where i can get extractor pins for a 29-2

Obvious question, did you try Numrich? I'm not sure that the dash designation means a lot either as I'm pretty sure the pins stayed unchanged.

When all else fails, drill rod or (IIRC), #54 HSS drill bit fixed a 28 N frame more than once. Can't recall size exactly but the pressure fit has worked great for many years. Unless it's a show piece or all "original matters" gun, these are quick and usually easy to come across. First,Numerich or maybe Popperts are the goto as mentioned, I waited 3 months with S&W a couple years back and received wrong parts twice.

Extractor alignment pins are .056" x .200", with a very slight crown on the edge at each end. They don't usually break, after some use they literally fall out.....with a little help from the extractor body
