Default Hammer Block Question?

Are all K frame hammer blocks the same size(interchangeable)? I recently purchased a used SS K frame and discovered the block had been removed by the previous owner. Thanks Dave

Dimensionally they are the same. The "flag" on the block for the newer models is slightly different. It will depend on your model and revision number. (dash#)

Smith and Wesson may be able to provide a new one at no cost.....1-800-331-0852

If you are interested in replacing the missing block and you are unable to find one, let me know, I can send you one.

Some times they have to be timed or fit to function without jamming. Your gun smith will be able to do it.
