Default Should I Send TRR8 Back Again to Master Revolver Shop??

I sent my fourth S&W PC revolver to a renown master revolver shop for a defensive action job.

The first three, two PC 627's and a 586 L-Comp all came back nice and smooth with significantly less DA pull weight. No only was it literally lighter, but the increased smoothness contributed to a perception of lighter pull. I have extolled the praises of that work on this web site numerous times.

In December I sent a PC TRR8 for the same job, but also asked for lighter SA as I hunt with the TRR8.

Surprisingly, while the SA weight is clearly lighter, the DA is about the same. Are their limitations to my request, or did they just not get the job done with the DA and need to do follow up?

Thanks!!!

People can overlook something. I would vote for a polite follow up request, to see if there was an oversight or why this one is not the same as the others

Usually a good smith measures pull before and after. Is that listed anywhere on the receipt / paperwork?

No. That's a good word, and I'll request that with the return.

On second thought I'm just going to drop the side plate and bend the spring myself. If I muck it up I'll send it back.
