Well, that's certainly an interesting first post. Welcome to the forum.

Repairing an end shake issue?

Yes sir, picked up a 10-6 for the daughter and wife to plink around with.
It's in extremely good shape , tight , timing seems good, cyl turn line
Is hardly noticeable. I don't believe it's been shot much.
It has no end shake , the cylinder ratchet is dragging on the recoil shield .
It has no shims in it, so I believe it needs a little removed from the stem or shank that the cylinder rotates on.

When the cylinder is locked in place (closed), the extractor contact with the breechface is confined to the raised boss around the center pin. This contact or bearing area is approx. .010" above the ratchets, so the ratchets themselves don't actually contact/rub the breechface when the cylinder is closed, and the cylinder is rotating.
Is the contact/rubbing occurring when the cylinder is being opened and closed? Prior to removal of material, be sure to check the measurement of the rear gauge, or headspace. (between the rear of the cylinder and the breechface with cylinder closed) If you trim the yoke barrel, the rear gage may go out of spec. (.060 - .068")
