Recently acquired a nice 915. Although the trigger isn't Horrible, I feel it could defiantly be improved, the reset is negligible. I've done plenty of S&W and Ruger revolvers; pretty easy mechanisms to polish and re-spring if needed. But, this is my first S&W semi-auto. It is reliable beyond a fault, but working on accuracy. How much of a under taking is this trigger job. I know this gun will shoot, its just the matter of tweeking a few things.
#1 Trigger #2 right ammo; this gun shoots poorly with bulk ammo, seems any.355 stuff is all over the place. Loaded some Hornady .356 HAP bullets and the improvement was huge. HAP isn't good SD stuff though. Working this out on the Reloading Thread about using cast bullets. Thinking bore may be over-sized.
Any knowledge on this gun would be appreciated, nice having a no plastic gun. Really want to make it shoot good; Or is this a waste of time with this gun
