I have a broken off screw in the stud on my model 39 and can't find the stud anywhere. I usually go to Numerich ( gunparts ) but they have been out. Guy on ebay has one for a model 52-2 but it looks a little different ? Some research has told me it will fit, some says it won't Anyone know if it will work, and if not, where else I could find one for my 39 ?

Those are fairly standardized. I needed one for a 952 and found I could use one from a WW I Colt 1911. I picked up a package of 2 for $5 at a gun show. He referred to them as Colt short bushings. I got the impression there are only a couple of sizes that are made. I figured for $5 I couldn't go too far wrong, they fit perfectly. If you can get to a gun show ask one of the guys that sell grips, bet he might have them.
