Default Broke my Model 60 firing pin today.

It had to happen sooner or later. For this old snubster, it was later. I bought it in '81, I think. I've been getting it hot and dirty quite a bit lately and it finally snapped of and swedged itself into the hole.

I haven't messed with it yet, thinking I might get some advice here. I'm concerned about trying to knock the broken pin back out of the hole because if it doesn't go the first coupla whacks, it might just get schmushed in there worse.

Any ideas?

If you are familiar with the disassembly, repair and reassembly a punch should push the broken FP back out. You'll need a new FP and Rivet (Rivet can be reused if carefully removed and a new one is not readily available). If I am not mistaken, Ron Powers now sells the rivets.

If you are not familiar, don't have the tools or inclination to learn, a GOOD Gunsmith should be able to quickly repair it. Not really a big deal.
