Any members have expertise with the 547? If so let me know. Best

I have one and like it. My mechanist foreman son who also is a handgun shooter fired it and examined it quite well. He told me that that unit was quite expensive to produce, but it looked very well made and should hold up well.

From what I have gathered that there are not many people that can work on it nor are there many parts available.

Best answer I can give you!

Hello NY, agree with your son. Mine does not have a smooth extractor. It has a lump in in it. Does yours have number match grips? Best

I dunno about "expertise" but I have had mine apart a time or two. What are you wanting to do?

Just went to the safe to answer your question. As far as I can see I rate the extractor as smooth. No there are no matching numbers on my grips. The one panel (right side) does have the date 1982 on it.

Edit---- its a 3''
