Recommend Smith to ream .32 Long to .32 H&R
Looking to get my 30-1 reamed to H&R so I can share ammo and reloading with my Ruger. Any recommendations on smiths? I know some on here have mentioned having it done, so it must not be too uncommon. Also, what could I expect to pay for the job? Thanks,
Patrick

You can buy a reamer and do it yourself. There are also places that rent reamers. All you are doing is deepening the chambers a little bit.

Just be sure to use plenty of cutting oil, and go slow.

Possibly Patrick , like myself , knows his limitations....
I've always tried the DIY gunsmithing projects and anything more than a stock refinish has resulted in a ruined gun. "A man has to know his limitations"....I would be taking that revolver over to my favorite gunsmith shop and saving a lot of money.
They don't call me Bubba for nothing.

and don't reverse the reamer either when inserting or retracting.

If you call Ham. you might have a nice chat but I don't think he'll take the work.

Hamilton Bowen reamed my 16-4 cylinder to 327 Federal. Super accurate and not cheap!

I am not familiar with pressure levels of either of these loads. Would that be a safe conversion to make???
