Default S&W 625-8 Performance Center front sight

I replaced rear original sight with the LPA and I discover tha as low I can go, on the target I am always too high, the only solution is to remove the Partridge from sight with the same at least 1,5 millimeter high.. Wher is it possible to find.. ? Thank you)

Which type of mounting do you have? You will need a taller front. With the rear as low as it will go, shoot a group at a known distance, aiming at a center point, and measure the difference between Point of Aim and Point of Impact and I will tell you how much taller the sight needs to be. I may even have a fiber optic or black one that will fit.

My 625-8 PC has a DX style (interchangable) front sight. It originally had a .250" tall gold bead front sight & a .125" tall rear blade.

I wanted a deeper rear notch so I changed to a .146" rear blade & a .300" tall SDM front sight.

1.5mm is equal to .059" (according to my caliper) so installing one of SDM's taller .300" front blades should get you in the ballpark. They have gold bead, or their Super Sights, like I got.
