Where can I buy extractor pins? Model 10-8
Picked up a model 10-8 and it is off time ever so slightly on all cylinders.Lo and behold both extractor pins are missing. Numrich has none. Any other sources?

Brownell's, Jack First (Rapid City SD), Midway, and possibly S&W.
Worse case scenario make your own from Drill Rod. No big deal!

End of drill bit that goes into chuck. It is a numbered drill bit I forget the number size. This end not hard to cut off. Problem solved.

Thanks guys. I wasn't sure just how special they might be..so I tend not to just go and do something wrong. Done that enough times..

NOTE:
Drill Rod can be purchased in 6" 12" and 18" lengths if you want to have more on hand rather than using actual drill bits. Not that the bits are that expensive, but the Drill Rod saves you the hassle of replacing the bits and they come nice and clean.
That said, if you just need ONE, use a doaner and replace it in your bit set.

New pins in (thanks armorer951) and timing spot on! I red loctited them, after degreasing the pin holes. No easy feat in itself..

Old thread, but I had to replace a couple of pins in a 17-6 the other day, and thought that some dimensional info might be useful:
Holes in cylinder gaged just over and a fair amount over 0.056" (A 0.057" gage pin would not go in either.)
Holes in the extractor gaged 0.059"+, one being barely over and the other kinda wobbly. (A 0.060" pin would not go.)
Pin length: 0.215" maximum
I turned a couple down from 0.062" drill rod, there was some pushoff so the two pins end up with 0.058" diameters away from the collet and 0.0565" and 0.0570" nearer the supported end. Rounded and chamfered the opposite ends and drove them in with the extractor in place.
Happy to report it all went without a hitch! Didn't even drop one on the floor.
Revolver went from not carrying up on any chamber to being spot on on all.

It may be a long shot, but do try S&W. I got a few from them about a year ago by just asking customer service. Solved my carry up issues on 2 guns.
