Default S&W Bodyguard .380 locking up.

Went out today to the range to qualify. One of the Pistols I shot was a Bodyguard .380. I've had this pistol shortly after they came out and, except for the Laser, it has been trouble free. Today, however, I had a problem:

After about 20-25 rounds, the slide locked back while still having ammo in the magazine. Hit the slide release, nada. Dropped the magazine, hit the slide release, reinserted the magazine and racked the slide. All ws well and shot the string. No problems. But wait, After 6 or 7 rounds, same thing. Slide wouldn't close using the slide release; dropped the mag, closed the slide, reinserted the mad, Racked and finished up that string. No more problems and finished up the rest of the box without further any further problems except losing my concentration. Still got perfect 500 score.

Question: What happened or why? I'm thinking a bad mag; I shoot this lil pistol 4-5 times a year, between 50-100 rds each time. Any advice or comments good, bad, or ostherwise would be appreciated.

Funny you should ask. I was looking at that and finally found the little allen wrench to tighten the screw. It was loose, but not completely out. Just got done and was going to mention that, when lo and behold, wiser folks might have the solution.
thanks. Tightened it as much as I dare, I do not use any loctite type stuff on pistols, especially on the Laser. Will go out next week and drop a box thru it and see.

I bought a BG, took it home, dry fired it twice. Sold it, never fired, and bought a Ruger Custom LCP to carry around the farm. That BG has the most abysmal trigger I have ever pulled. I know some like it, and I hope they enjoy it. I think it is a mistake.
