547 side plate

Can I use a model 13's side plate on a model 547?

Well, it should fit since they're both K-frames - but they're hand-fitted so it may not fit without some filing here and there. And, you may end up with an ugly gap or two due to the tolerance differences between the two different frames. Is there a problem with the 547 sideplate?
