Default stock grip repair?

I have what I think are the original wood grips for my Model 58 M&P. one of them have a chip/strip knocked out of it from the bottom edge up for about 2" right along the backstrap. I would like to have it repaired but do not have the skill to do it myself. Anybody know someone who can do this, preferably who has actually done it before and has a track record. I would just as soon not pay somebody to learn how to do it on my grips.

Any helpful suggestions and cost estimates would be appreciated. thanks.

I decided to do something radical and do a search for grip repair. That is what seems to be the universal suggestion. I already sent him a PM. thanks for the suggestion in any case.

I just had a set of stocks restored by DWFAN and to say I am impressed in an understatement. The man is a true magician.
